Lincoln Campaign Releases 4th Quarter Fund Raising Totals
Little Rock - U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln today announced that her campaign will report total receipts of $1,310,508 for the fourth quarter of 2009 (October 1 - December 31, 2009). Senator Lincoln's campaign will report $5,021,279 cash on hand at the close of the period, December 31.
"This will be a tough campaign, and I am grateful for the support of so many Arkansans," Senator Lincoln said. "After another strong quarter of fund raising, along with the opening of our campaign headquarters and an expanding team of staff members and volunteers, the new year has launched with a tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm. Arkansas's families and small businesses remain my top priority, and I will continue my fight on their behalf."
Lincoln Fund Raising Report--By the Numbers:
- For the fourth quarter of 2009, the campaign will report total receipts of $1,310,508;
- The campaign will report $5,021,279 cash on hand at the close of the period, Dec. 31;
- Since the beginning of 2009, Senator Lincoln's campaign has raised $5,551,076, an average of nearly $1.4 million per quarter;
- Since the beginning of the six-year election cycle (Jan. 1, 2005), Senator Lincoln's campaign has raised a total of $7,006,965; and
- During the fourth quarter of 2009, contributions were received from 1,025 individual donors. The campaign has received contributions from 4,635 individuals in this election cycle for a total of $3,613,404 (51.6 percent of all contributions).
Federal Senate campaigns are required to submit 2009 Year End Financial reports to the Secretary of the Senate by no later than January 31, 2010.
