U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln
Born into a seventh-generation Arkansas farm family, Blanche Lincoln embarked on a career in public service when she challenged a 24-year incumbent for Congress in 1992. She was inspired by the words of her father, the late Jordan Lambert, who said, "Don't complain about the way things are unless you are willing to make the effort to change them."
